Less than a week after being officially approved as the newest minority owner of the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady was courtside on Sunday to watch his team play in Game 1 of the Finals.
Seated alongside fellow Aces owner and Las Vegas Raiders proprietor Mark Davis, Brady saw his squad cruise to a 99-82 win over the New York Liberty.

Brady wasn't the only star on hand to take in the action, joined by Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James and WNBA Hall of Famer Cheryl Swoopes.

James attended the game presumably to root for the Aces and "little sister" A'Ja Wilson. James recently told Andraya Carter of ESPN that he hopes the reigning Defensive Player of the Year brings Vegas back-to-back titles.
Brady, James, Swoopes and others saw the Aces run away with Game 1, thanks to a big second half. Trailing the Liberty by three at halftime, 49-46, The Aces outscored New York 43-23 the rest of the way.
A tremendous performance from the Aces' big four of Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and Jackie Young powered them to victory.

Young and Plum led all scorers with 26 points apiece. Young finished with five three-pointers (5-of-8), shooting 9-of-15 from the floor with a team-high three steals, and Plum shot 10-of-19 while adding five boards.
Meanwhile, Gray finished with 20 points (6-of-13), three three-pointers (3-of-5), six rebounds, and a team-best nine assists.
Wilson had only 19 points (7-of-11) but added eight rebounds, three blocks, two steals and two assists in the win.
The Aces, who haven't lost since August, remain undefeated in the postseason (6-0) and will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series when they host the Liberty for Game 2 on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
