"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." While he was onto something in the '80s, I don't know if Ferris Bueller's advice applies to 2024. Thanks to the non-stop deluge that is social media, life's now moving at warp speed—blink, and you're out of luck. That’s where Keep Your Clips Up—a weekly collection of the best videos in skiing—comes in.

Clips, clips, clips. This week's offerings should satiate every kind of appetite. Want to watch a bunch of YouTubers toss themselves off the world's biggest ski jump? You're in the right place. In the mood for a euphoria-drenched recap of Kimbo Sessions? That can be arranged. Only have a few seconds and hope for something that'll make you say "holy s**t" faster than you can microwave a hot pocket? Yep. Here's what the algorithmic firehouse served up over the past few days.

The Sickos Get Sick

Last week, we shared a video of the Prada-clad Ryōyū Kobayashi setting a new unofficial ski jumping world record in Iceland. As it would turn out, Kobayashi wasn't the only one who stepped to the imposing, world-record-facilitating snow feature. The Sickos—a crew of YouTubers known for their action sports content—were on hand, too. None of these guys are slouches on skis or a board, but they're also not Kobayashi, meaning their attempts at the jump varied success-wise, which, I suspect, is part of the allure. Curious about what would happen if a mere mortal attempted a superhuman feat? Now's your chance.

The Kimbo Sessions Recaps Cross the Finish Line

Kimbo Sessions is the gift that keeps on giving. Late this week, the final recap of the oft-lauded event dropped in the form of a nearly 20-minute long edit. You may have already read about or heard of Kimbo Sessions, but know this: putting this event into words isn't easy. So, this time around, instead of waxing not-so-poetically, I'll let the fancy camera work of Andreas Olofsson and Björn Eklund do the talking. Pour yourself a drink, sit down, and let this wash over you—a shot of pure skiing is the perfect doom-scrolling antidote.

Something’s in the Water at Geiloparken

Kimbo Sessions isn't the only recent Scandinavian event that has produced mind-melting bangers. Over at Geilo, Norway—home to Geiloparken, a terrain park run by the legendary Andreas Håtveit—something miraculous is happening, with an all-star cast of skiers partaking in some explosive freestyle action. Given the sheer density of recent Geiloparken clips, making a single selection is difficult, but something tells me this double from Mikkel Brusletto Kaupang will stand the test of time. You know you're doing something right when the comments section below your video is full of fellow pro skiers congratulating you on a move.

Sage Explores Mt. Bachelor’s Spring Wonderland

Let's pump the brakes a bit. Skiing isn't always about record-setting jumps and death-defying doubles. When most of us hit the slopes, we don't actively try to max out our health insurance deductibles. Pro skier Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, who can questionably hang with that gnarlier crowd, has created a humbler, more relatable offering with his Let's Take A Lap video series. In his latest upload, he shreds Mt. Bachelor, Oregon, with Andrew Orlich. Unlike much of the snowsports content available online, watching Cattabriga-Alosa's series feels like going for a mellow rip with your friends, which, this time of year, is a godsend.

Jérémie Paquette Might Be the New King of Frontflips

And now we're cutting the brake lines again. Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia, shredder Jérémie Paquette has once again proved he might have the best frontflip in the game, provided Parker White is willing to relinquish that title. This time, Paquette got inverted over an imposing cat track road gap at Whistler. Don't be shocked if he goes back and doubles it.
