Interleague DH issues: None today, but starting Tuesday, the Indians will probably sit Mark Reynolds, Nick Swisher or Drew Stubbs (my pick) when they play in Philadelphia.

Streaming starters: Dan Straily struggled Friday, Vance Worley wasn't good outisde of notching a win on Saturday, and Chris Capuano was just fine against the Marlins on Sunday. We're 24-15 on the season.

Today's pick is underrated Cub Travis Wood (owned in 38.4 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) against the Rockies, while Tuesday's selection is the still-underowned Scott Kazmir (8.5 percent owned) on the road in Philly.

On to the news:

• After coming through Friday's rehab start without any issues, Zack Greinke thinks he's ready to pitch for the Dodgers against the Nationals on Wednesday, but the team hasn't made a decision yet on his return from the DL. If I owned Greinke in a league that required lineups to be set today, I'd activate him. If the Dodgers are planning to let him pitch somewhere, why not in Dodger Stadium to help them climb out of last place?

• Besides, the Nats won't have OF Jayson Werth, who is on the DL with a strained hamstring. Roger Bernadina has been playing more often than not in Werth's absence, and should be an NL-only consideration despite his current .289 OPS.
• OF Jason Heyward could come off the DL at any time, but weekly leaguers might want to keep him benched in case the Braves wait a few more days.
• It sounds like Diamondbacks OF Adam Eaton is about a week or so away from making his 2013 debut. Is he going to displace the surprising A.J. Pollock? Hmm ...
• Speedy Jays OF Rajai Davis is on the DL with an oblique injury. Someday, Davis will enter the season 18th on a team's outfield depth chart and still find a way to steal 30 bases.
• With Eduardo Nunez (oblique) on the DL, the Yankees are going with Jayson Nix at shortstop. No, I don't know how they keep winning.
• The Red Sox have placed C David Ross on the seven-day concussion DL and called up the solid Ryan Lavarnway. Lavarnway is a short-term AL-only option who might play a few times this week. In other Red Sox news, here's a link to info on Joel Hanrahan's season-ending surgery, in case you missed it.
• Rockies OF Charlie Blackmon homered Sunday after getting called up to replace the injured Michael Cuddyer on the roster, but look for speedy Eric Young Jr. to get more playing time.

• Ryan Madson could be back with the Angels sometime this week. He probably won't close right away, though.
• The A's hope to get OFs Coco Crisp and Chris Young back from the DL on Wednesday.

• Angels SS Erick Aybar is day-to-day after leaving Thursday's game with a hamstring injury.
• Angels SP Tommy Hanson will miss his scheduled Friday start due to "family issues," according to the team's website. His replacement is TBD.
• Braves OF Jason Heyward started a rehab assignment Thursday, and you can probably expect him to come off the DL early next week. Teammate Brandon Beachy will begin his rehab assignment next week with an eye on a mid-June return. If you want to stash Beachy, he owned in just 4.6 percent of FOXSports.com leagues. I feel like I'm not as excited as others are about his 2013 potential.
• So, Joel Hanrahan (forearm) has been moved to the 60-day DL, and might need surgery. There's no need to hang onto him, folks.
• In better reliever news, Arizona's J.J. Putz isn't expected to need elbow surgery, but he'll be shut down for at least a couple of weeks before being re-evaluated.
• Orioles SP Miguel Gonzalez has been placed on the DL with a blister on his right thumb. Steve Johnson will start in Gonzalez's place on Saturday, and he should only be considered as AL-only roster filler.
• Johnny Cueto threw three innings in a Thursday rehab start, and could be back with the Reds as soon as May 19.
• Reading Ned Yost's comments about Jeff Francoeur in this article, I think Yost is (again) itching to get speedy Jarrod Dyson in the lineup more often. Just a hunch.
• Tyler Cloyd is taking Roy Halladay's rotation slot with the Phillies tonight. The 25-year-old Cloyd isn't a highly-regarded prospect, but he's been missing some bats this season. Keep an eye on him, NL-only owners.

• Does anyone else think Yu Darvish might strike out 30 Astros on Saturday night?

Victor Martinez, Lance Berkman and Travis Hafner don't figure to be in their teams' lineups. Adam Dunn started in Paul Konerko's place last night, but I doubt we'll see that again today. The Mariners will again choose between Justin Smoak and Kendrys Morales (Smoak played Tuesday).

Streaming starters: Eric Stults shut down - you guessed it - the Marlins to raise our record to 21-13. Today's pick is Ricky Nolasco (owned in 2.2 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) against the Padres, while Thursday's selection is the recently exhumed Scott Kazmir (0.7 percent owned) versus the undermanned A's. Today, I drew the line on my anti-Marlins strategy by passing over my Staten Island homey Jason Marquis. Are you brave enough to stream him?

On to the news:

• Diamondbacks' closer J.J. Putz left Tuesday's game with elbow stiffness after facing just one batter, and will have an MRI today. Heath Bell closed things out, but David Hernandez had already pitched, and the D-backs' plans for a potential extended Putz absence aren't clear. After the game, manager Kirk Gibson talked about his team's bullpen depth, and said, "anybody can step in and fill the role." Thanks, Kirk. The guess here is that Gibson will go with Bell (1.7 percent owned) if Putz is out for awhile, but Hernandez wouldn't be a shock. We should know more about Putz's status in the next day or two.

• The Red Sox announced Tuesday that Junichi Tazawa will close with Joel Hanrahan and Andrew Bailey both on the DL. Tazawa is owned in just 5.8 percent of FOXSports.com leagues, and he's pretty good, so you should grab him for the short term. However, Bailey is eligible to return on Tuesday, so Tazawa's fantasy value could disappear quickly. Yes, it could also reappear if the oft-injured Bailey gets hurt again later.
• In other Red Sox news, rookie Allen Webster has been called up and will take Felix Doubront's rotation slot tonight. I'm not usually a big fan of rookie starters, but you can certainly consider the talented Webster (2.70 ERA, 26 K in 20 IP at Triple A) in AL-only leagues.
• Matt Harvey is a monster.
• Kevin Gregg converted another save opportunity last night. Kyuji Fujikawa might come off the DL as soon as Friday, and although I've been in his corner all season, the Cubs will probably leave Gregg alone until he falters (which is very possible). Gregg is still available in 85.3 percent of FOXSports.com leagues, and that's silly. 
• Speaking of closers, Jason Motte had Tommy John surgery on Tuesday. I hope you didn't use too high of a draft pick on him.
• Remember when the A's had a lot of outfield depth? Josh Reddick (wrist) is apparently headed to the DL. 1B Daric Barton has been called up from the minors, allowing Brandon Moss to spend time in the outfield. If your league gives credit for walks and defense, Barton will be a fine pickup. Otherwise, forget about him.
• White Sox OF Dayan Viciedo played in a doubleheader Tuesday as part of his rehab assignment, and figures to return from the DL this weekend if all goes well.
• Brian Roberts ... ugh.
• Rockies SS Troy Tulowitzki hopes to play today after missing Tuesday's game with a sore leg.
• Marlins 2B Chris Valaika (wrist) is headed to the DL. It's not clear if Nick Green or Chris Coghlan will replace him in that train wreck of a lineup.
• Here's what the Astros did with their revamped group of outfielders. Robbie Grossman seems pretty entrenched, huh? When Justin Maxwell returns in about a month, this will get interesting.
• In case you missed it, Hanley Ramirez's hamstring injury will keep him out for 4-6 weeks.
• Jered Weaver's injury rehab is going slower than expected.
• Pirates starter James McDonald (shoulder) is on the DL. Teammate Neil Walker is targeting a Sunday or Monday return.

Wednesday's selection is Miami's Ricky Nolasco (1.2 percent owned) against the Padres.

• Red Sox RP Joel Hanrahan left Monday's game with a strained forearm, and will have an MRI today. If Hanrahan misses an extended period of time, what will the Sox - who already have Andrew Bailey on the DL - do about the ninth inning? The team's website reports that Junichi Tazawa or Koji Uehara "would seem to be Boston's top closing options," while FOXSports.com's Jon Paul Morosi tabs Uehara as the most likely option. Unless Boston manager John Farrell indicates otherwise, figure that the strike-throwing Uehara is the guy, with Junichi Tazawa getting some stray saves. (UPDATE: 2:40 P.M. ET: Manager John Farrell said Tuesday in a radio interview that Tazawa will close for the time being. Go get him in case Hanrahan's absence is lengthy.)

• The Dodgers finally placed 2B Mark Ellis (groin) on the DL; Nick Punto will continue to get most of the starts in his place. In other Dodger news, the MRI for 1B Adrian Gonzalez revealed a strained neck muscle. Gonzalez says he'll play through the pain, and if I owned him in any leagues, I think I'd prefer a DL stint. Gonzalez's day's as a big power hitter might be done, anyway.
• Alex Rodriguez is back! OK, not really - he's hitting off a tee and playing catch and stuff in Tampa, and still hopes to return after the All-Star break.
• The Diamondbacks have moved SS Didi Gregorious into the second spot in their batting order. They're not going to be happy when he comes back to Earth after this ridiculously hot start.
• Reds C Ryan Hanigan will begin a rehab assignment today. 
• Marlins 2B Donovan Solano (intercostal strain) is headed to the DL. Weak-hitting Chris Valaika has been playing in Solano's place, and should only be considered as an NL-only desperation play. 
• The Astros figure to be a revolving door all season, and their outfield was shaken up Monday. Rick Ankiel and Fernando Martinez were designated for assignment, while Trevor Crowe and Jimmy Paredes were called up from Triple A, and J.D. Martinez was activated from the DL. The Crawfish Boxes seems to think the main beneficiary will be Brandon Barnes, who could become the team's everyday right fielder. AL-only and deep mixed owners should take note, as Barnes has modest power-speed skills. Crowe is speedy, but they're not going to let him play regularly.
• 1B Matt Adams comes off the DL today for the Cardinals. He doesn't really have a place to play, but he's active.

Let's keep it simple and stream against the Marlins for the next two days, taking Padres' starters Andrew Cashner (owned in 5 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) today and Eric Stults (1.3 percent owned) on Tuesday.

• After another shellacking on Sunday, Phillies SP Roy Halladay told the team that he's been feeling pain in his shoulder, and they placed him on the DL. We don't yet know how long Halladay will be out, but as tempting as it might be to cut bait with him right now, stash him on your DL if you can. I suggested the aforemetioned Mr. Hughes (now 16.5 percent owned) as a rosterable option in Friday's Free Agent Frenzy, but otherwise you should plan to stream starters until we hear Halladay's prognosis.

• With Hanley Ramirez (hamstring) back on the DL - probably for longer than the minimum stay - speedy Dee Gordon (2.4 percent owned) is back at shortstop for the Dodgers. Gordon had 14 steals at Triple A before his promotion, and swiped three in two games for the Dodgers over the weekend. Among Gordon's negatives are a history of on-base issues, a shaky glove that could cost him playing time, and the N0. 8 slot in the batting order. None of those should scare you away from his speed, which is off the charts. Grab him now if you can, and hope that when Ramirez returns, it's to play third base.
• In other Dodger news, 1B Adrian Gonzalez (trap muscle) will have an MRI today after being limited to one pinch-hitting appearance over the weekend, and 2B Mark Ellis (quad) might finally land on the DL today.
• Welcome back, Brian McCann! You'll be active in one of my lineups today.
• Royals SP Jeremy Guthrie is 4-0 with a 2.40 ERA and 1.11 WHIP after Saturday's shutout. Guthrie is owned in just 43.2 percent of FOXSports.com leagues, and you can certainly grab him if you need a short-term starter. However, his ERAs over the last five seasons are 3.63, 5.04, 3.83, 4.33 and 4.76. Be careful.

First pitch: The Reds and Cubs have a 2:20 p.m. ET matinee at Wrigley, while the AL schedule gets underway shortly after 7. Also, remember that MLB ON FOX coverage begins Saturday at 3:30, leading into Orioles-Angels, Cardinals-Brewers and Nationals-Pirates.

Interleague DH issues: The Rays are in Colorado, meaning that the newly activated Luke Scott figures to be a pinch hitter.

Streaming starters: Kyle Kendrick's strong outing raised our record to 16-13 for the season.  The weekend picks are Mike Leake (owned in 2.3 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) today, the surging Phil Hughes (12.8 percent owned, two ER in each of his last three starts) against the A's on Saturday, and Wandy Rodriguez (24.7 percent owned) versus the Nats on Sunday.

• 3B Ryan Zimmerman comes off the DL tonight for the Nationals, with rookie Anthony Rendon heading back to the minors. Start Zimmerman if you've got him.

• Brewers 3B Aramis Ramirez (knee) will be activated today, but since he didn't go on a rehab assignment, they'll take it easy with him in the short term, possibly pulling him early from games and giving him days off. For the next few days at least, try to look for the Brewers' lineups before starting Ramirez. He'll play tonight, but beyond that, it's a mystery.
• Why did Joel Hanrahan get last night's save for the Red Sox? Because Andrew Bailey was suffering from discomfort in his biceps. Bailey and the team say the injury is minor, and there hasn't been a role change here. However, if you own Bailey, you already know that he's had some trouble staying healthy. Cross your fingers.
• In other Red Sox news, OF Shane Victorino is expected to play tonight after missing seven straight games with a strained lower back.
• Nats OF Jayson Werth's hamstring injury might cause him to miss some (or all) of this weekend's series in Pittsburgh. A DL trip apparently isn't going to be needed, though.
• White Sox SP Jake Peavy was scratched Thursday due to back spasms, and won't start until Saturday at the earliest, according to the team's website.
• This Q&A with Brian Cashman has plenty of Yankee injury updates, but the one that sticks out is 3B Alex Rodriguez beginning "baseball rehab" as early as next week.
• Braves C Brian McCann is tracking toward a Monday return to the lineup. He's still available in about 30 percent of leagues around here.
• Dee Gordon is working out at second base? Whatever it takes to get his speed back to the majors and on fantasy rosters, I guess.
• With Josh Johnson (triceps) not-so-shockingly on the DL, Ricky Romero will start tonight for the Blue Jays. No, I don't trust Romero, either.

Also, as I noted on Wednesday's Fantasy 15 podcast, I picked up Phillies' rookie Jonathan Pettibone (0.2 percent owned) for Friday in the FOX Sports Experts League as part of an anybody-against-the-Marlins strategy. You don't have to join me, but I'm giving it a try.

On to the news:

• Nationals OF Bryce Harper left Wednesday's game after appearing to injure his left side while checking a swing. It turns out that Harper originally suffered a bruise to the same spot when he crashed into the outfield wall on Tuesday night. The Nats don't seem to think the injury is serious, but Harper might get tonight's game off even if he doesn't want to.

• The A's placed OF Coco Crisp (hamstring) and SP Brett Anderson (ankle) on the DL. Congratulations to all those who had May 1 in the "When will Anderson go on the DL?" pool. Dan Straily will again (still?) replace Anderson in the rotation, while the A's have plenty of outfielders - assuming that Chris Young's quad injury is a short-termer - to cover Crisp's absence.
• Blue Jays SPs R.A. Dickey (neck) and Josh Johnson (triceps) are on track to make their respective starts this weekend. I get the sense that some of you are getting impatient with Dickey. Don't sell him for 50 cents on the dollar, OK? If his neck gets better, he'll snap out of this funk.
• The Brewers expect to get 3B Aramis Ramirez back from the DL on Friday, and will shift slugger Yuniesky Betancourt to regular duty at first base.
• The Tigers have sent rookie reliever Bruce Rondon back to the minors.
• The Red Sox hope to get OF Shane Victorino back in the lineup on Friday, but the DL is still a possibility.
• Cubs SP Matt Garza (lat) might be two rehab starts away from his 2013 debut.
• The Rockies are targeting a Sunday return for 1B Todd Helton. 
• Marlins SS Adeiny Hechavarria will return from the DL this weekend. That lineup is going to be loaded!
• Trevor Bauer shut out the Phillies over five innings last night, giving up just one hit and ... six walks. Ugh.
• The Yankees acquired 2B/3B Chris Nelson from the Rockies, and he'll serve as a utility infielder. He's probably not even useful in AL-only formats.
• The Pirates will probably get SP Francisco Liriano back from the DL within 10 days. Let's all agree not to pick up Liriano if he throws five scoreless innings in his first game. We know that won't end well, right?
• Tim Lincecum ... nope.
• Why is closer Edward Mujica pitching so well for the Cardinals? Maybe it's his split-finger changeup.

Streaming starters: Sorry about yesterday's terrible Edwin Jackson pick - we're down to 15-12 for the season. Today's choice is San Diego's Andrew Cashner (owned in 4.7 percent of FOXSports.com leagues) against the Cubs, while Thursday's selection is Philly's Kyle Kendrick (29.1 percent owned) versus the Marlins. If you like to stream starters, you need to chase the Marlins every chance you get. Their lineup was pretty horrendous before Giancarlo Stanton got hurt.

On to the news:

• The sometimes brittle Carl Crawford was scratched from Tuesday's game due to a tight hamstring, and Dodgers manager Don Mattingly suggested that Crawford might get today off as well. Crawford has played pretty well so far, so be happy that Mattingly is being careful with him.
• In other Dodger news, Hanley Ramirez started at shortstop and hit a homer. Start him if you've got him, fantasy owners.

• After blown save No. 4 for J.J. Putz, Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said he wasn't ready to discuss a possible closer change. I'm ready to discuss it, and I think it's time to stash setup man David Hernandez (2.1 percent owned) if you have the roster space.
• Giancarlo Stanton's hamstring injury is pretty bad. The team's website says the "best-case scenario" has Stanton returning in 3-4 weeks.
• Joel Hanrahan is off the DL, but Andrew Bailey is still the Red Sox' closer.
• After worrying millions of fantasy owners with murmurs of forearm tightness on Monday, Stephen Strasburg and his "structurally perfect" right arm are expected to make their next scheduled start on Saturday.
• As expected, the Angels placed OF Peter Bourjos on the DL with a strained hamstring. The moderately speedy J.B. Shuck took Bourjos' place in the outfield on Tuesday, and could be worth an AL-only look if he stays in the lineup. On the bright side, the Angels got Erick Aybar back from the DL last night.
• No surprise here: The Yankees finally placed 3B Kevin Youkilis (back) on the DL. Last night, the Yanks went with the fearsome duo of Eduardo Nunez and Jayson Nix on the left side of their infield. In other Yankee injury news, 1B Mark Teixeira (wrist) isn't expected back before the end of May.
• White Sox 3B Jeff Keppinger (back spasms) hopes to return to the lineup tonight or tomorrow.
• You need to see this home run that Edwin Encarnacion hit last night. Colossal. Titanic. Oh. My. Goodness.
• Rangers C A.J. Pierzynski was scratched last night due to an oblique injury, and he might not play tonight, either.
• Who's heating up? Jason Bay? Really?
• Here's an interesting article looking at the strong start of A's 3B Josh Donaldson.
• Mike Moustakashit a home run! Wooooooooo!
• Despite struggling (5.32 ERA) at Triple A, SP Jordan Lyles is about to get called up by the Astros. He might even start Thursday.
• Look for Jhoulys Chacin to come off the DL and rejoin the Rockies' rotation on Sunday. SS Troy Tulowitzki (rotator cuff) is expected to play tonight after a two-game absence.
• The Braves are hoping to get Brian McCann back early next week.
